New Years Eve

New Years Eve we went over to Ross's cousins house and hung out and played games. Ross's best friend and his family came over and spent the evening with us too. Jackson loved playing with his little boy the entire night. They both made it to midnight running around. Jackson and Lincoln Riding on the four wheeler Playing basketball Jackson would randomly go over and watch the new bond movie with everyone!

Snow!

Last year when we went to Utah for Christmas it didn't snow at all while we were there. We were pretty disappointed that Jackson didn't get to play in it.. This year we got plenty of snow and Ross took full advantage of it. Jackson was sick the whole time we were there so we only let him go out for a little while but he loved it. Every year growing up my dad would make a slide in the backyard for all of us to go down. Ross was determined to make one for Jackson this year.. and that he did! Jackson wasn't so sure of it at first but towards the end loved it and cried when we made him go inside. Jackson however hated to wear his snow pants! He would cry the whole time we tried to put them on. He is a crazy kid. Helping the boys make the slide Watching the snowplow Helping Oma shovel the sidewalk Jackson first snowman! It was kind of a lame one because the snow was so flake it wouldn't pack at all to make balls but he didn't know and loved it Cleaning of Oma's car. Jackson started to do it with the shovel and we had to hurry and switch him to something else! Loving the snow Ross's family came to my parents for dinner one night and Ross and to show them the slide he made and have a little night ride. That red stuff was water with food coloring in it. Ross wan't to make ice on the slide so it would go faster and I wanted a good picture of it so I put food coloring in the water so I could see it. But then I forgot to take a picture of the full slide... Jackson braving the cold with Oma Whitnie going down the slide Jackson and dad going down.

Christmas

Jackson was so funny Christmas morning. He woke up and we took him to see what Santa had brought him and he didn't care to go in the room and see! After a few minutes of chilling he finally went in and looked. He was pretty happy with his airplane but wasn't fully into it.. So we decided that we should go downstairs and open presents. Every kid likes that right?? Nope Jackson again, didn't care to go downstairs and just sat on the floor and whined. Then finally he looked at us and said eat?! haha we asked him if he was hungry and he shook his head yes and asked for oak mill.. So we all went back upstairs and ate breakfast before we opened any presents!! After Jackson got food in him he was all about the presents and Christmas joy. I guess he just really wanted to eat. That morning/afternoon all of my siblings came over to my parents house for lunch and to hang out. We let Jackson take a nap and then headed out to Ross's parents for more fun and presents. I'm so glad that we were able to come back to Utah and spend the holiday with our families!

Christmas Eve

This year we had Christmas Eve with my family! I was so excited to get together with everyone and have some yummy German food! Jackson loved running around with all of the other little kids, we didn't see him much that night! I loved seeing all of my cousins kids so excited about santa coming. They were checking on the computer where he was like every half hour haha It's so spending Christmas Eve with my Dad's side of the family and doing all the traditions they've made. After the party was over we went back to my parents house and did more traditions of getting pajama's, lighting the pyramid and reading How the Grinch Stole Christmas! I loved the Pajama's Jackson got this year. I couldn't stop laughing every time I saw him. He just looked so cute in his tight pj's. Jackson running around shooting everyone with a gun he found Ross and Jackson picking their candle that will go out first on the tree! Jackson Checking to see where Santa was. Opening our pajama's Helping Opa and Oma open theirs Reading with the pyramid Jackson favorite thing was to help blow out the candle's. He would always ask to light them so he could blow them out lol

Park City

My family was able to go up to PackCity for a couple nights during our trip! I love going up there during the holiday and staying in the timeshares. It was nice to have all of my family together and be able to hang out and relax. On our walk up main street Jackson thought it was cool to kick this chunk of ice... Trying to get a good picture of Jackson and Addi Jackson loved these snowmen outside a store. He would point to all the different parts as my mom said them Jackson's first time seeing a lot of snow. He has seen it but there has never been enough to play in. He didn't know what to think at first. Jackson was throwing snowballs at me so I thought it would be a good picture if I took it of him while he was throwing it.... Not so much!! He had a direct hit to my lens! What are the odds Opa's was the coolest person pushing Jackson and Addi around on the "train" Jackson loving the big bath tub My parents gave all the kids some of their gifts while we where up there having our family Christmas party.

Temple Square Lights

I love going to Temple Square lights during the Christmas season. Jackson loved all the Christmas lights on the houses when we would drive around so I knew he would be amazed with Temple Square. Testing out the lighting on my camera on this loser hahaha I love this picture of Jackson and his cousin Addi looking at the lights together! Jackson with his Aunt Whitnie

Randoms in Utah

We did so many fun things while we were in Utah over the break! Jackson's was in heaven there and we are all adjusting to being back in quiet, slow life of home. On our way to Utah we got to the airport thinking it would be a little busy but to our surprise we walked through every line and had a good 45 minutes before our plane left So Jackson had fun going on the escalators. We would get off and he would say "try again". I always stress about flying alone with Jackson but he has been so good every time we fly. He loves looking out the window and every time we would hit turbulence he would go "weee" and asked to do it again haha defiantly not his dad kid in that situation! It also was nice to have Jackson have his own seat this time too As soon as we got to my parents house Jackson because best friend with my parents dog pugsley! He would call him to go everywhere with him. I'm sure pugs was happy when we left and he didn't have to be dragged all around the house with Jackson. We had to make a stop a Jamba Juice while we were there. I've been craving it my whole pregnancy and they have NOTHING like it here! I even tried the Jamba mixes from the store but they didn't do it justice. We went to my parents ward Christmas party and this is how Jackson ate his cake. He's never eaten anything like this before! My mom and Tyler thinking that they would be able to get Jackson to sit on Santa's lap.. No luck and my mom had to sit with him! Making gingerbread cookies with Oma Jackson was having fun making the cookies until he tried the dough and thought it was gross and he was done after that.. I guess he didn't want to waste his time on making something that he didn't think tasted good. Uncle Jason was one of Jackson favorite people while we were there. Jackson loved to play games on his phone with him. One night Jason and Caroline came over and made cupcakes and let him help with everything! Jackson had so much fun with them.
