Easter

Easter was great this year! I always love seeing Jackson's face on holidays. Jackson actually slept in so we were in a bit of a hurry to let Jackson see his basket and then get out the door. We let him eat a couple jellybeans and he was so hyper durring sacrament meeting. I was glad to let him go to nursery for the First time alone! It was so nice and weird to be able to sit and listen to the lessons :) After church we had people over to eat dinner together. It was a party... We watched the Masters lol I know, WE ARE COOL

Jackson finding his basket

He had to go back and look at it before we left to church

Dying Eggs

We got together with some friends to colored easter eggs! I always love coloring the eggs but never have been very good at it. I'm just not creative! Jackson didn't really know what was going on but love to hold the (balls) eggs. I tried to get him to color on one so we could but it in the dye but no luck. The picture below is how he staid until he got bored of watching us and got down to chase the kee (kitty)!

The group hard at work :)

Jackson ready to start coloring his Eggs.. not

Ward Easter Egg Hunt

The weekend before Easter our ward had a Easter egg hunt/party for all the primary kids and it was so much fun. Ross and I had thought about going to a city one and I'm glad we didn't go. The party was at a ward members house that sits on quit a few acures. One thing that I loved is that they had different areas for the different age groups. They split it up into Senior primary, Junior Primary and nursery! It was nice to be able to let Jackson go at his own pace picking up the eggs. We were in no hurry to pick them up because there was about 13 little kids to a few hundred eggs lol I guess there was over a thousand plus eggs they split up. Jackson's basket was full and we left with eggs still on the ground. They also had a train ride, a carousal, dodge ball, sack races, face painting and had a lunch for us all. It was so nice to spend the day with friends and letting Jackson run around doing all the fun activities.

Jackson and Dad after the egg hunt. Jackson was mad we were taking a picture and not letting him go back to pick up more eggs

Grab and run!! No time to sit and put them in your basket

There are always two cameras going at everything. Being away from family our phone are always going sending pictures to our families.

Jackson proud of his full basket

The old, dad powered, carousel that all the kids loved (mom you would love this too!)

Some of the dad's decided that they were going to have a sack race! It was funny to watch. They were all joking around but when it came to the race they were so serious about winning. The best thing is that no one was on the finish line to see who actually won lol Here is all the guys lined up, ready to go.

Look at their faces!

And the epic finish!

Moo

Jackson is getting pretty good at his animal sounds EXCEPT when we go on our walk to see the ponies!! With out fail Jackson will walk up to them moo-ing his little heart away. The only reason I can think of why he moo's is because they are small like a cow.. But we don't see cow's here so I don't know where he gets it. This time Ross was able to go with us.. We are so cool that for fun we go on three mile walks with out friends to see the ponies of a friday night lol

Petting the ponies. They are so nice, every time you walk up to the gate they come running over.

I've alway been a little worried that the owners would be mad that we are there petting there ponies but on this walk the owner was our watering his plants when we came to see them. He just waved and I was happy he didn't care we were there. A couple minutes later he came over holding cut up apples for us to feed them. So cool! Jackson was a little worried but loved to see dad feed them.

This is Ross and Bret studying the pony because they think it has some eye problem..... yeah, they are nerds!

Olives

I had to make a small post of Jackson with olives on his fingers. He loves olives and thought it was so cool/funny to have them on his fingers and then eat them off. He would run around eating them and when he was done he would come back for more with his fingers spread as far apart as he could get them lol

Visitors!

We don't get many visiters here is mississippi. Actually the only time we have had visiters is when I had Jackson or work brings them here! So I was so excited when my sister's said they were going to come and visit us and nothing but them wanting to come was bringing them lol. I know more would come and visit if the flights into Memphis weren't $600+.
Anyway this past week they came and I loved every second of it. It was so nice to see them and be able to show them around and where Ross goes to school. I feel like I talk to everyone about things here but only my parents know what I'm talking about. It was a busy couple of days. We tried to fit as many things as we could in with having a 1 year and a 18 month old kids that needed to take naps. There were many times that we just drove by the historical sits so the kids could keep sleeping in the car.

Jackson and Addi loved being around each other. It was such a change from Christmas time. They would chase each other and just laugh. It made me wish we lived by family so Jackson could play with his cousin more. I think this picture is so funny. This was the first night while they were taking a bath together haha I wish you could see Jackson face. He totally meant to spray Addi.

We took a trip to the zoo! Jackson and Addi looking at the birds

Jackson loved the huge snake that was slithering up the glass. All I could think of was Harry Potter :)

By the pandas with Aunt Heidi and Addi

With Aunt Heather and the Elephants

Playing in the fountains at the zoo! The weather was in the 80's the whole time they were here!

And of course we had to eat BBQ. Jackson and Addi enjoying their ribs at Corkys

Every night we would go on a walk and look or feed the ducks.

I love this picture of Jackson laying his head on Ross's while he looks at the ducks

We went and took pictures of Jackson and Addi on the railroad tracks. They are so cute together

Walking along the Mississippi

Aunt Heidi and Jackson with the bronze statue of Elvis. haha Don't be jealous

Now the count down to going back to Utah in May for Aunt Carolines wedding in June!!
