Ward Easter Egg Hunt

The weekend before Easter our ward had a Easter egg hunt/party for all the primary kids and it was so much fun. Ross and I had thought about going to a city one and I'm glad we didn't go. The party was at a ward members house that sits on quit a few acures. One thing that I loved is that they had different areas for the different age groups. They split it up into Senior primary, Junior Primary and nursery! It was nice to be able to let Jackson go at his own pace picking up the eggs. We were in no hurry to pick them up because there was about 13 little kids to a few hundred eggs lol I guess there was over a thousand plus eggs they split up. Jackson's basket was full and we left with eggs still on the ground. They also had a train ride, a carousal, dodge ball, sack races, face painting and had a lunch for us all. It was so nice to spend the day with friends and letting Jackson run around doing all the fun activities.

Jackson and Dad after the egg hunt. Jackson was mad we were taking a picture and not letting him go back to pick up more eggs

Grab and run!! No time to sit and put them in your basket

There are always two cameras going at everything. Being away from family our phone are always going sending pictures to our families.

Jackson proud of his full basket

The old, dad powered, carousel that all the kids loved (mom you would love this too!)

Some of the dad's decided that they were going to have a sack race! It was funny to watch. They were all joking around but when it came to the race they were so serious about winning. The best thing is that no one was on the finish line to see who actually won lol Here is all the guys lined up, ready to go.

Look at their faces!

And the epic finish!
