Here ducky ducky

Quack! Quack! Thats all I heard as we fed the ducks at the pond. I was so happy to see that there were ducklings the other day I had to take Jackson and feed them. Jackson ate his piece of bread while I fed them mine. His face was priceless when he saw me throwing the bread to them, saying "mom, what in the heck are you doing.. that is perfectly good bread" and took his bread and started eating it lol He loved seeing the ducks and having them come so close to us. We will defiantly be feeding the ducks, turtles and fish a lot this year.

Eating his bread!

St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's day we went to the Botanical gardens with some friends. I had been there about a week before and there wasn't much blooming so I didn't expect much this time. I was pleasantly surprised when we got there. There were so many flowers in bloom and they had tons of the trees that are blooming at our apartment that I love. I can't wait until later on in the summer when everything is in bloom!

Jackson in his green

Ross and Jackson looking at the fish. Jackson almost fell in!

We found a little turtle on the grass by the pond. Jackson didn't know what to think of it. I wanted to take it home but Ross won't let me.. He reminded me of my college days and the turtles we had that both died. I swear we took care of them :) huh Car Diz!

This is my favorite picture. Look how beautiful the trees are. The white ones are the trees that are all over my apartment complex

Jackson smacking the flowers.

It was so hard for Jackson to just look and not touch the flowers

The group!

Ross and Jackson walking. I love my boys

Jackson was so funny on the ride home. We for sure thought he would fall asleep. As soon as we got in the car he put his blanket over his head and kept it like that the whole way home lol.

The Madness Begins

The NCAA basketball tournament is a big deal in our family! We love picking the brackets and talking trash to everyone. My dads side of the family even has a plaque that the winner's name goes on and they get to keep it at their house for the year.. Well I think.. Ross and I have never won therefor we have never seen this so call plaque! I WILL WIN. Maybe not this year with all the upset but one year I will. Our family even has the babies choose a bracket. You might think that is crazy but there has been years a child has won! I love hearing how everyone picks their bracket. Some actually study the teams but most pick by name, ranking, color or the best mascot! Here are pictures of Jackson getting his bracket set they way he wanted it.

This way worked great last year. We wrote all the names down and put the two that were playing each other in a hat and whatever one he pulled out won the game.

This year Jackson didn't want anything to do with picking his teams. He picked one side and that was it.

We got him to pick the side by putting the papers on his ball and he would throw them off. The first one he grabbed was the winner

Here is Jackson final bracket!

Playing in the sand

The other day we went and played in the sand (volleyball court) with Breeann and little Benny boy! I don't know how much Jackson liked it. He's been in this stage where he doesn't like to be dirty. If he gets something on his hands he runs over, with his fingers spred as far apart as they can wanting it to be wiped off. Its really pretty funny but it doesn't go well when you want to play in the sand. He really like when I put water in his dump truck and he could splash around.

The few minutes he wanted to dig in the sand

Then he moved to the sidewalk where it was cleaner and dug there lol

Breeann and I decided that we were going to bury Jackson waste deep in the sand.... Needless to say.. He didn't like it. Yes, I am a mean mom :)

I had to put a picture up of cute Benson chilling in his stroller while we played.

We love the zoo

The weather has been so nice here the past week and we are loving it. On Saturday we went to the zoo with our friends Matt and Lauren. We have a pass to the zoo so we go a lot but its always fun to bring people that have never been. Our zoo is really nice and usually the animals are up and moving around. My favorite is going and seeing them feed the animals. We went and saw them feed the grizzly bears this time and it was so much fun. The bears were so close and swimming too. Here are some pictures from the day.

It was the opening weekend of the dinos at the zoo so we got a picture

Jackson trying to touch the bird

I love when the hipos are out in the sun.

Every time I go to the zoo this panda is eating. No lie I've never seen him doing anything different.

Most the time Jackson would rather climb on everything then look at the animals.

Jackson petting the fake bird with his favorite person Matt

I love how the bears just look like they are just having a party.

This shows how close they were! So fun. Jackson liked the fish swimming more then the bears lol

Atlanta #2

Day two of our time in Atlanta was a little more laid back. We didn't have set plans, we wanted to go to stone mountain but it had rained all night so we didn't know what would be open there. At breakfast we asked the guy at the front desk to see what he suggested but he was NO help. So we decided to go to stone mountain anyways. The only thing that was open was the tram ride up to the top of the mountain. The ride was really fun but up at the top of the mountain was really windy so we headed back down the next ride. Stone mountain would be super fun if you went in the summer when everything was open, they have a lazer show on the mountain each night that would be cool to see.

Jackson and dad on the train

They have a huge Confederate memorial carving on the side of the mountain. Its of President Jefferson Davis, Generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson. The surface of the carving is longer then a football field! It was really neat to see.

Dad and Jackson on the sky ride

This was on the sky ride looking down on the carving.

At the top a ladybug flew on Jackson haha he was amazed with it

On the top of the mountain looking over the Atlanta skyline

After Stone mountain we went to the Atlanta Braves stadium! This is in the middle of the parking lot. Its were the ball landed when Hank Arron hit his 715th homerun. I'm pretty sure there is something more to this story but I don't remember :) They have built a new stadium since then and thats why it is in the middle of the parking lot and not in the stadium.

When I was taking pictures of the stadium these two boys walked by and this one struck a pose and yelled "hey take a picture of me" so I did! lol I told him that he will be on my blog and so here is this random boy!

Turner Field

This was also on the street going to the stadium. I though it was pretty cool.

We also went to the Olympic park and it was LAME! It was nothing like Park Cities Olympic park. We had to pay $5 to park and there was nothing there. A few rings on the ground and a couple of kids playgrounds.. That was it. Good thing Jackson loves park and we were able to stay a little while and let him play.

This quote was on one of the statues in the park. I really like it.

On our way home we decided to become nas-trash and stopped by Talladega Nascar race track! We were the only ones on the tour haha surprisingly it was fun! Now I can say that I have driven on a racecare track.

Standing on victory lane.

This was interesting. I've seen the cars on tv go around track but I never knew how steep the angle was as they rounded the corner.

Jackson enjoying his own seat on the tour.

Atlanta aquarium and world Coca-cola

Ross had his spring break this past week so we headed over to Atlanta GA. Besides Ross getting a speeding ticket the trip was really fun. Our first day we went to the aquarium and the world of coca-cola. The aquarium was the pest part of the trip. I was a little hesitante of going because it was $30 a person but it was totally worth it! I would go back in a heartbeat. I want to put up so many pictures, I even have them all in colleges but for some reason blogger wont upload them. I think they are to big and I don't know how to resize them. (side note: I think I'm retarded because I can not figure out how to work photoshop. the end) Once I figure it out I will post all of my pictures. There were so many beautiful fish. Jackson was in heaven running around seeing everything. The Ocean Voyage was my favorite part. They had a window looking into the aquarium that was massive and I could have sat there looking at all the ocean fish swimming around. They also had a dolphin show that was pretty neat too. It was different, they told a story of a ship that had been sunk by the mean fish and the dolphins came to help them and raise the ship back up. They told the story and the dolphins would come in and do trick during different parts of it. Jackson was scared at some points but by the end he was clapping with everyone. Here are a few pictures of our first day.

This is Ross and Jackson playing on the sport court at the hotel.

In front of the aquarium

Touching 2 foot long bonehead sharks

Touching stingrays

Touching starfish and other litter creature life. This poor starfish was beat up by Jackson. One touch was enough and the starfish was out of there.

Looking at the albino alegrota

Jackson hitting the widow, yelling at all the fish

The beluga whale. They had three or four of them swimming around. So neat

Jackson loved this penguin. He would wave his hand back and forth and the penguin would chase it.

The next three pictures are in the Ocean Voyage part. They had many of all these fish swimming. This is a huge stingray

You know... Just a shark swimming around

The WHALE SHARK! This thing was huge.. We went picture happy with this fish. I like this picture because its swimming over Ross and Jackson. They had a tunnel going under the water so you could look up at all the fish.

One of the dolphins

The World Of Coca-Cola. Ross was so excited to go to this. He is addicted to this stuff. Turns out it was kinda boring. I don't know if it was because we had just came from the aquarium or what. I'm glad we went but probably wouldn't go again. They told the history of coke and showed you the volt that they kept the "secret recipe" in, showed you the process of how the coke was made (it was being cleaned while we were there so we didn't get to see that). The best part and to be honest the only reason we went there was to taste all the different drinks that coke offered around the world. I thought it was just going to be coke but they had different drinks like fruity drinks. Asia and Europe were gross. Europe had a drink called Beverly and it was the grossest thing I have ever tasted. I don't know how people could drink it. I couldn't get the taste out of my mouth..

With the coke bear

Ross so happy to be going into the part where you taste everything

Jackson getting little taste of his own.
