Pumpkin Craving

I love carving pumpkins and was so excited to have Jackson help us this year! He didn't care to much about them lol I thought he would get messes and like to play with the insides of the pumpkins but he just ran around looking at everyone. The messiest he got was when he tripped and sat right in the bowl of seeds! We all started laughing and Jackson started to cry haha I was pretty disappointed how my carving turned out.. It took forever and it doesn't even look like it should. It's suppose to be a witch with her cauldron brewing. I know.. you never would have guessed :) oh well!

Here is all of us with our finished pumpkins

All of our pumpkins! We had the Butterfields and the MacDonalds come and carve with us too. We didn't carve all of these!

Cedar Hills Farm

This past weekend we went to Cedar Hills Farm! We didn't know anything about the farm other then they had a pumpkin patch that we could go pick pumpkins and thats all we wanted! It cost a little more then we had expected but it was a lot of fun. We were pleasantly surprised with all the activities they had to do. We also found out that they have Christmas trees growing and in December you can go and cut your own down! Ross and I are pretty excited to go back and get a tree with Jackson.

Jackson loving the pumpkins

At the entrance of the farm they had this hay bale turned into a pumpkin. I had to get a pitcher of Jackson with it.

He didn't know what to think of it! This was his face pretty much the whole time.

Horn Lake Festival and homemade ice cream

Yes... another festival and wont be the last!!

This weekend we went to the Horn Lake festival with the Butterfields. They have a million festivals and events going on here. Usually they are lame and we wont go back to them but we have to try them at least once! This one we heard has been better in the past years.. Story of our lives but we did do a couple things there. Jackson got a football painted on his face and Ross and I played a game to win Jackson a stuffed animal.

Some church was painting faces for free so we decided to try it out on Jackson. He did really well and let him paint the football. He was questioning what the guys was doing here.

Being a good boy!

The finish product!

This was my favorite part of the festival. This was a kids game they had. Take notice of all the cans

A little closer..

Yep you are seeing it right! 90 percent of the cans were Miller light haha teaching the kid early!

I was cleaning out my draw and found two gift cards to Bed, Bath and Beyond that added up to be $55! To bad everything is so expensive there.. We decided that we since we didn't have the money before that we would buy something we would never justify spending money on right now. So, we bought a Ice cream maker! I'm pretty excited about it. To bad the ice cream we made tasted horrible! We made burnt almond fudge and it was no good! To much coco and I burnt the almonds to much haha I just feel bad for the Butterfields that had to eat it and pretend they liked it :) Hopefully next batch will work out better!

Jackson waiting for the Ice cream!

Primary class party

This Saturday we had our primary class over for a pizza party. I think the Root beer had something in it because the more they drank the more hyper they became. We played wii sports and Mario brothers. It was funny to hear them all get mad at each other for killing them on Mario. I was happy to see the quiet girl in our class killed them all haha All the boys came in saying they were so good and she rock them. We had a lot of fun but an hour and a half was just right time!

Jackson loved having them all over. He would run around with them and try and eat their pizza!

Suckers

Jackson loves suckers! The other day I let Jackson have a sucker and he pick out a blue one haha I loved watching him eat it. He sits here and enjoys every lick.

It wasn't me......

Mom.. I swear it wasn't me.

I don't see anything on the wall

Maybe it was dad..

Ok.. I confess it was me!!

But you can't catch me!!

Ross was a smart dad that gave Jackson a KitKat to eat and didn't think it was necessary to watch him. I came home and not only found this on the wall but many other places around the house..

Fort time.

The other night Ross and I made Jackson a fort to play in. He loved it. He kept running in and out and when he was in the fort he would spin in circles. He played in it for about ten minutes until the circle got to him and he feel and hit his head on our entertainment center.. Poor kid always is hitting his head.

Playing with dad in the fort.
